We already miss Lake Blaine. It is for sure a family favorite. Brett got his relaxation in, I got my waterskiing in, and Carter got his run around with cousins in. It was awesome.

In Montana this year Carter went on the little ski skimmer. Even though he didn't stand up he still let us reel him all the way out behind the boat. He is a little stud. Next year he will be standing.

Welp I gave up and then I decided to try this whole blogging thing again. I am just going to start over and post from this day on because catching up would take way way too long. So to start fresh here is a pic of the cute little dude we just have so much fun with. Look at that big smile. What a cheeeser.

We went back east and saw a lot of really fun stuff. Everyone's favorite was the time we were able to spend with Brett's dad and Carter absolutely LOVED his Grandpa! The last time he saw him he was too little to care, but this time he couldn't get enough! He even fell asleep in his arms and slept for a couple of hours while Dennis held him, which was a huge blessing because Carter won't even sleep in me or Brett's arms! It was a sweet moment that we won't forget!

While we were in D.C. it was the Cherry Blossom festival and it was absolutely gorgeous! It was so pretty to just look out and see the millions of trees blossoming. We saw so much there and loved our time in D.C. and Alexandria!

He loved the birds and everyone sitting there on the beautiful sunny day loved watching and laughing at him laughing at the brids flying away

They have a really fun museum that is all for kids! Carter had so much fun. When I say West Philadelphia I mean the scary "west" sung about by the Fresh Prince... if you don't get that reference I will give you some help "I got in one little fight and my momma said your living with your auntie and uncle in bel-air" da da du nu. dada da da du nu.

Carter was too light to make it work so Brett had to help him out a bit (I don't think Carter really knew the difference)

While I was taking pics of Carter he was just touching the ground and playing with the rocks... apparently he was kind of hungry because as I was snapping a bunch of shots this is the scene that unfolded...
