Carters getting tubes

So it is all set! I went to the ent and the audiologist this morning and after seeing if there is fluid in his ears and having him fail his hearing tests we scheduled our appointment for RELIEF!! The tubes go in on Feb. 22! I can't believe I am actually excited but it shows that there is end in sight for constant doctor visits, constant antibiotics, constant costco sized motrin, and sad little sick boys with diarrhea, grumpiness, runny nose, non sleeping, non eating, and pulling on the ears! Tubes are such an easy quick fix that I am happy that he was a candidate for them.

Carter's 1 Year Pics

Ok so I am not caught up but this pic will sum up a little bit of December. My friend Tori took a bunch of absolutely adorable pictures of Carter and they turned out so dang cute! We had been waiting for a couple of weeks till he felt a little better from the last ear infection and I am really happy we did. Tori you are awesome! And thanks a ton for the cute pictures!

November

We had a good November...
The highlites are going to San Francisco with my mom and Gretta which was tons and tons of fun! Carter rode a cable car for the first time. We went shopping and for the very awesome activity of the week we saw Wicked!! I have been wanting to see that for so so long and my mom was nice enough to go to a matinee and then she put Carter to bed and stuff while me and Gretta went to the Evening show and it was INCREDIBLE! Carter was a trooper eventhough 2 days before we went to the doctor for ear infection #3!

Halloween

Ok moving along with the catch up. We went to a pumpkin patch with my bro. and sis. and parents and we all had a lot of fun searching for our perfect pumpkin.
A few days before Halloween we had a trunk-or-treat with our ward and all the kids were so darn cute in their costumes and Carter was really fun to watch walking around with his little hippo toy and he was definitely the cutest lion EVER! I mean the most "ferocious" lion ever.
For halloween we took Carter out for the first of many trick-or-treats ever.
I didn't get many pics but here are some.

October

So I am going to start doing a bunch of catch up posts... so stay tuned!

In October-
We went to Oregon for my cute cousin Andrees wedding. She got married in the Portland, OR Temple to a great guy and they are a perfect couple! The day they got sealed we realized that Carter had a really bad ear infection but he was a trooper. We went with my mom and dad.
Then we went to the Tillamook Cheese factory because no trip to Oregon is complete with out some tillamook ice cream!
Then on to Seaside where Carter rode a Carousel for the first time and he LOVED it!

Growing a Carter for Dummies

Instructions on how to properly grow a healthy thriving Carter... make sure to give it lots of applesauce and oatmeal. When it needs a snack a sippy cup of carrot juice works great. And most of all... singing songs will always prevent the wilting of its leaves!
