Ok so I know it has been forever and ever so I figure what better time to post a new entry than while Carter is snoring away and Brett is teaching at SLCC... so READER BEWARE! This is a very long post so unless you have minutes to waste just stop reading now.
So much has happened since I last posted... we went to Montana and had tons and tons of fun. Carter officially crawled (not his adorable little butterfly scoot but a real crawl) for the first time on the 24th of July, and the Evanson family was all there to witness because we were sitting around reading scriptures and we all noticed it. Then a couple days later he started sitting up on his own. Of course Brett made his famous Tacos Al Pastor while we were there. On Aug. 6th Carter started standing up to our chairs and my moms chairs and stairs and now a month later he has been letting go of things and standing on his own for a few seconds! I think I will have my work cut out for me by chasing a little hyper boy around. He also climbed my moms stairs a couple of weeks ago and my mom has pictures to prove it. We went to Las Vegas with Ben and Ashli and that was so fun to watch the babies chase eachother around Thanks for coming with us guys! Carter is so much fun and we have just been playing all summer while I have not been working. We have been going to the zoo, playing with toys for hours, swimming (and we go to swim lessons once a week now), going on lots and lots of jogs and walks, and eating otter pops! I am excited to go back to work (tomorrow) but said to see the care free days of summer go away.
Sorry for taking any minutes of your life away but here are a bunch of pics to show you how GIANT Carter is. The ones of him in his crib I just thought were cute and it is how I find him after his naps... in the corner of the crib just babbling nonsense till I come get him.
